Karbase has been repairing Otahuhu’s cars from the same Great South Road workshop since 2005. Mahesh started the business here as a panel beating shop, and two decades later it is still the same site, still doing the same work — we have simply got better at it.
You will find us at 2/127 Great South Road, in behind the NAPA parts store. If you are anywhere in Otahuhu you are minutes away, and you are welcome to drive in and have someone look at the damage while you wait rather than booking an inspection days out.

Why Otahuhu drivers come to us
Twenty years in one location means most of our work now comes from people who were sent here by someone else we repaired a car for. That is a slow way to build a business and a hard one to fake.
Being local also matters more than it sounds when your car is off the road. You can drop it in on the way to the train station, walk over from the Mason Avenue shops while we quote it, and collect it without arranging a ride across Auckland. If it is easier, we will collect the car from you in Otahuhu and return it when the work is done — just ask when you book.
We also have a courtesy car available so you are not off the road while your own vehicle is with us.

If the repair is going through insurance, tell us who you are insured with when you make contact — we deal with the insurer directly and can tell you early whether the excess is worth claiming against.
