Penrose is five minutes from our workshop — the same Great South Road, a little further north. It is the closest major commercial area to us, and a good part of what we do for Penrose is fleet and work vehicle repair rather than private cars.
Fleet and commercial work
A damaged work vehicle is a vehicle that is not earning. What matters is turnaround and a straight answer about how long it will be off the road, so:
- We quote the job properly before starting, not halfway through
- We tell you the realistic completion date rather than the optimistic one
- We invoice fleet and commercial customers on account, so your drivers are not paying on collection and chasing reimbursement
- Courtesy vehicles and vehicle collection are available to keep your people moving while a unit is in the workshop
We handle vans, utes and light commercial vehicles alongside private cars — panel work, spray painting, chassis straightening and bumper repairs.
Compliance and repair certification
If a vehicle has had structural repair work, it will generally need a repair certificate before it can legally go back on the road. We do the panel and structural repair here; the certification is handled by our sister company Car Compliance, an NZTA approved repair certification centre also on Great South Road in Otahuhu. Between the two workshops you get the repair and the paperwork without chasing a second provider yourself.
Everything else
The full panel and paint service is here too: collision repair, rust repair, dent removal, paintless dent removal, spray painting and colour matching, cut and polish, headlight restoration, plastic welding and insurance work.
